That's the reason for DivorceCare. It's a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

GriefShare - It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you've lost someone you cared deeply abut then you've probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

That's the reason for GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This group is sponsered by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and small group discussion about what you viewed in the video. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and have the opportunity to share your own.

Checkpoint utilizes the truths of God's word as the basis for study and discussion. These truths are applied individually through sharing and mutual problem-solving.

Checkpoint additionally enhances this format with 12 specific goals from the Bible designed to be used in recovery and support programs.

Checkpoint helps individuals work through such problems as alcohol, drugs and other compulsive behaviors such as overeating and unrestrained spending.

Safe Harbor was opened in January 2000 as a community minded outreach with multiple ministries directed toward the needs of the people in and around the shore area. We offer hope, prayer, love and our faith in Jesus Christ to all people.

It is a safe place where anyone may come and receive direction and support in difficult individual and family circumstances. Counseling is offered to individuals and families.

Safe Harbor has two counselors, each with over twenty years of experience who will evaluate, advise and guilde in a process toward healing and wholeness.

We invite you to come and meet us. Find a friend to talk with or let us assist you. All our services are free of charge. We offer food, support groups, counseling and prayer.

As we have received abundantly, we share out of the overflow of the blessings of the Lord. Come and receive or share with us and see the Lord's goodness extended to all.
